⭕ Berat Castle - A Living Fortress
Perched high above the city, Berat Castle is one of Albania’s most iconic and well-preserved fortresses. Dating back to antiquity, it reflects a unique blend of Byzantine, Ottoman, and medieval architecture.
Inside the castle walls, traditional stone houses are still inhabited today. During our visit we will also explore the Onufri Iconographic Museum, located inside the Church of the Dormition of St. Mary, home to an impressive collection of religious art.
⭕ Belsh - The Town of 85 Lakes
Surrounded by gentle hills, Belsh is known for its landscape of glacial lakes, often called the “town of lakes.” The area offers fresh air, scenic views, and a peaceful atmosphere that perfectly contrasts with the historic streets of Berat.
⭕ End of the Tour - Return to Tirana
After exploring Berat and Belsh, we begin the scenic drive back to Tirana, arriving in the late afternoon.
